Managing Websites & Records
The dialog box lists all websites referenced in your secure data file along with the record each one
is associated with. The list is in alphabetical order of record names, so you can see all websites
that are associated with a particular record grouped together.

You can display the dialog box by clicking on the
button on the toolbar.
When you transfer data from a web page, if PasswordPod can find an existing record
that is associated with the website, it will transfer the details to that record. If not, it will
create a new record. However, after a new record has been created, you might decide that the website
should actually be associated with a different record. Using the dialog box, you can associate
any website with a different record.
For example, in the list above, PasswordPod automatically created different records for the
website domains "signup.onetel.co.uk" and "secure1.onetel.net.uk" because they are different.
This was changed later so that both website domains are now associated with the same record
"Onetel", meaning that all information about Onetel is kept in the same place. This is a
matter of judgement and is not always appropriate. In most cases you won't want re-assign
websites to different records.
To change the association for a website, double-click the item in the list and you will be prompted
to choose a different
record. By doing so, all associated items are transferred from the original record and
are appended to the list of items in the newly associated record instead. Copies are also made of any items
that you created manually as well as any notes. After doing this, if the original record is no longer
associated with any website, it is deleted.
Using the Remove button, you can remove any reference to the selected website from your data.
This will remove the website from the associated record's list of websites and will also delete
any items in the record associated with the website. If the associated record is now empty
as a result, it is deleted.
